HOW INFLAMMATION LEADS TO AGEING
The expression “Inflammageing” refers to a continuous, low-level and asymptomatic inflammatory process associated with ageing.
This process is particularly triggered by exposure to UV rays, which induce oxidative stress and the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines.
Such an inflammatory response can become chronic over time and gradually cause damage to skin tissues such as:

EFFECT ON COLLAGEN PRODUCTION
Effect of Lumixa Collagen Booster on collagen synthesis and deposition in human fibroblasts cell cultures.
To monitor collagen produced in cell culture supernatants of different conditions, the Sircol* assay was performed. Supernatants were prepared from:
Cell-free supernatants were collected after 48 hours of incubation and assessed for total soluble collagen production according to the manufacturer’s protocol.
In vitro studies show a 7 x increase in collagen production 72 hours after treatments with Lumixa Collagen Booster, compared to baseline.

TREATMENT PROTOCOLS
1 weekly session for 5 weeks
Lumixa needs to be activated by a blue LED light:
• Wavelengths: from 415 to 470 nm
• Fluence: 15 –25 J/cm²
• between 10 and 15 minutes
